“ We went last night with 7 adults and 3 children; everyone enjoyed the food with a number of different entrees, pork chops, stroganoff, Bavarian platter, Weiner schnitzel amongst them; all delicious! We were there for 2 hours and since it was my daughter's birthday, he even got us a birthday cake for her! That's the sign of a "really special place"! ”
“ Went here for a Sweet 16 celebration and everything was delicious!!! There was live music and blackberry mojitos were great! We will definitely be back! ”
“ The staff, ambiance and the food all outstanding. Quiet, relaxing and comfortable. Try it! Five stars! ”
“ Great service. Didn't care for Arnold Palmer but they gladly offered something else. The BBQ wings appetizer were delicious. Place slowly filling up with plenty of room to dance. Sitting outdoors option. Full bar. ”
“ Attended an event here with the LI Dog group on a hot Sunday. And I can not describe how nice the young gentleman servers were. They also kept the water & ice full to cool down both the humans & the dogs. I'm so glad they are a dog friendly establishment! They have a large grassy area & outdoor bar & dining area plus, the inside is nautically decorated & super clean. We ordered turkey sandwiches & chicken quesadillas with fries and it was all tasty & well made. Definitely recommend Pine Grove Inn on a nice evening for a casual dinner. ”
“ Had a great Father's Day lunch at the Pine Grove Inn. The staff was friendly and accommodating, especially the bartender, Sienna, who put a lot of care into the cocktails based on our preference. The Father's Day menu had a nice selection of steaks as well as a crab soup which was delicious - tasted like a nice bisque. My skirt steak was cooked perfectly and came with a sauce on the side. Also ordered at the table was a tomahawk steak which was juicy in addition to a filet mignon. The outdoor seating is very relaxing and feels private. There is a nice view of the water and boats. A live band was also playing that day which created a nice vibe. The backyard area is also dog friendly. Overall we had a fantastic time and would recommend and also would return again. ”
“ I had dinner here with some friends recently and we all felt the service was excellent!! Everyone enjoyed their dinner, one had the lobster mac and cheese, someone else had the sauerbraten and a couple others had the beef stroganoff, which was delicious!! The appetizers and desserts were also very good! The ambiance was comfortable, warm and quiet on the night we were there. Considering it was rainy most of the day, it was nice to sit and relax with friends without feeling like we were being rushed out the door! The waiter, Giovanni, couldn't do enough for us and was so accommodating!! The owner even made it a point to come out and check on us and to see if we enjoyed our meals!! Yes, everything, everywhere all at once (or so it seems) has gotten expensive, but even the price of food we have to prepare ourselves seems to have gone out of control! This establishment has been serving the Patchogue area for a very long time! They have struggled quite a lot after being flooded out by Hurricane Sandy, when they had to close for a few years for renovations. After they reopened, they then had to close again because of COVID. They continue to try and please their customers and serve the Patchogue area, as best they can. I would encourage you to visit them again if you haven't in a while, even if your last experience there wasn't as epic as it used to be, the owner and staff are really trying to make it work!! ”
“ The food, service, and ambiance were good. The menu consists of German food. There is plenty of space for larger parties also. The service was excellent and attentive (I felt like the Queen I am ). I met the owner Mike and learned they have music and lots of fun on the weekends. I must check that out and update my review! They have a networking event coming up. Pic attached! ”
“ Came here for Easter dinner with my husband's family although not my first time here. I feel like this is the only German restaurant (correct me if I'm wrong, people) in this neck of the woods. The food is good, and they have a great menu of options. Potato pancakes and the Bavarian pretzel was split among the table and both were really good! The pretzel came with a beer cheese that was delish. They had an Easter menu, but their regular and brunch menu were also available. It took a while for the food to come out, but I took that as the staff was letting us enjoy Family time on the holiday. I ordered the feta and herb crusted chicken from the Easter menu, which was quite tasty as well. The staff was wonderful and so gracious. This space is great for live music and I found out that they have karaoke on Friday's. When I use to live in the area it was tough to find a karaoke spot so I thought I would put that here for any karaoke fans. Now that the weather is getting nice, and if I remember correctly, they do some outdoor events on their premises. It's a really nice location because it's off one of the Patchogue inlets which gives a nice few of the water. One negative, and I feel like I must make the public aware that there is no changing table in the bathroom (yes they have gendered bathrooms). That was a toughie. Other than that, great Easter dinner. Just like all the experiences I had here before, super great! ”
